What is the Conference on World Affairs?

Since 1948, 100 participants representing a wide range of backgrounds have gathered in Boulder to discuss issues on an impromptu basis at the Conference on World Affairs. Although many of the panelists ordinarily command large speaking fees, CWA participants attend at their own expense, finding reward in a fascinating and diverse group of people from around the globe. All events are free and open to the public-and attended by students, faculty, staff, alumni, townsfolk, journalists and visitors from around the nation.

City Club is proud to host Jim Palmer, retiring Director of CWA
and introduce the new incoming Director, John Griffin
for lunch and an introduction to CWA on Thursday, April 3rd.

On Friday, April 4th City Club Member Oak Thone will present
the "Insiders Guide" to the program catalogue.
Learn the who, what, where, when and how's of navigating the CWA.

We will then host a recap open discussion on Friday, April 11th to
share our thoughts and what we have learned.
Please join us in learing more about this unique forum on
international affairs,  the arts, media, science, diplomacy,
technology, environment, spirituality, politics, business,
medicine, human rights, and more!
