Lean Construction in Electrical Contracting
2 CLASSES, 2 LOCATIONS!

Improve productivity through a focus on lean construction principles. Lean Construction is a shift in a thought process towards collaborative project efficiency and quality to promote delivering a project to clients by maximizing value and minimizing waste while pursuing perfection.  The goal is improving productivity through constant simplification of processes, encouraging input and collaboration from all project team members, decreasing waste, increasing efficiency, and creating predictable work flow. The seminar focuses on tools to achieve these goals.

This workshop is led by Mark Federle, Chair of Construction Engineering and Management at Marquette University. Mark’s career began in the construction industry working as a foreman, superintendent and project manager for general contractors in Indiana and Michigan. Mark earned his PhD and M.S. in Construction Engineering and Management from the University of Michigan.

The one-day class will be held in TWO locations on separate days - in Boston on May 29 and Portsmouth, New Hampshire, on May 30.  Select the most convenient venue for you and your employees!  Breakfast, lunch and light refreshments will be served.
