Trauma Sensitive Schools:
Train the Trainer Model

This one-day training will provide participants with the tools they need to participate in and plan for a three hour Trauma Sensitive Schools training to be used in district with your staff.  The training will use the Seven Essential Ingredients (7ei) Model for Trauma-Sensitive Schools and will focus on the Wisconsin DPI Trauma Sensitive Schools Learning Modules 1-6.  The training and planning will allow district trainers to carry out and ensure sustainability to train all district staff as required by The Department of Justice School Safety Initiative Grant.  Resources will be provided to ensure this training can be carried out in districts in either one 3-hour session or three 1-hour sessions.  Planning will include for tracking staff participation and how to ensure all required staff meet the minimum requirements.
