Topic: Traffic Signal Performance Metrics 

Speaker: Dr. Darcy Bullock, PE - Purdue University Professor of Civil Engineering and Director of the Join Transportation Research Program

Description: Calling all traffic signal geeks, dweebs, and super nerds!!!  There is a strong national interest in transportation system performance measures.  In the traffic signal area there are three broad classes of performance measures.  Input oriented, tactical performance measures, and outcome oriented performance measures. Dr. Bullock will focus on tactical performance measures that can be used to identify opportunities for 1) improving arterial progression and 2) improving split (green time) allocation.

Early Cost/Registration:   $25 Private Sector Member, $15 Public Sector Members, $15 Life Members, $10 Job Seekers, $30 for non-Members.  Students are free if registered online.  On-line registration via the ITE website (link below) ends on Monday, May 11th at midnight, or once the room limit is reached.  Seating is limited to 80, so please register early!

Late Cost/Registration: Walk-ups are welcome at the door as space allows; walk-ups and late registrants will be charged $5 extra.
