Training Overview:

Our children with prenatal drug exposure, trauma, ADHD, anxiety, depression, developmental delays, and learning disabilities are all vulnerable to problems with executive functioning. These executive functioning deficits are often the root of underperformance or time management challenges, making it so much harder for our children to function in school, family, and social relationships. This is even more complicated when parents have similar problems with executive functioning. Combining research and clinical practice, Dr. McClosky provides an easy-to-follow, high-energy presentation with captivating descriptions and engaging case illustrations of elements of executive function. This intermediate level training will introduce the Holarchical Model of Executive Function development, including the 33 self-regulatory executive functions, and provide an overview of strategies to build capacities in children and families. Join us for a day where we can come together and learn to promote growth in executive functioning in young children and their parents to help them meet their potential.
