The training will include “Medicaid 101” and “Monitoring and Peer Reviews”. The Medicaid 101 will be an introduction to all three Medicaid programs with a detailed focus on the School Based Health Service program (fee for service) while covering topics such as requirement of IEP for Medicaid billing, parental consent and what services are eligible for Medicaid Reimbursement. The second subject will be Monitoring & Peer Reviews. This is a hands-on session that will allow the participants to do a mock monitoring review and allow schools to be more comfortable with the monitoring process.
