The ultimate goal of reading is comprehension and vocabulary instruction facilitates students’ ability to comprehend the text. Join us as we explore how to explicitly teach a vocabulary routine as well as comprehension strategies to meet students’ needs in a co-teaching and resource setting. We will also create specially designed instruction and supplementary aids and services for comprehension instruction when given a student’s present level and goals with benchmarks.
