This six-week discussion group is designed to help deepen our understanding and practice of awareness meditation as taught in the first level of Joy of Living.
The practice of awareness meditation enables us to transform all experiences, even difficult emotions and painful thoughts, into sources of joy. Over the course of the six discussion-group sessions , we will clarify various meditation practices, discuss challenges and experiences, and gain more confidence in our meditation practice.
This discussion group is open to those who have already completed either a weekend or online Joy of Living Level 1 course. Each session begins at 6:30pm and ends at 8:30 pm. There will be a tea break in the middle.
Please note that the six sessions will take place over a period of eight weeks, with no meetings on October 16 and November 6. Although there will be a topic outline for the six sessions, you are welcome to attend even if you cannot make all sessions. The meeting dates are as follows:
