Let's keep kids fit & smart this summer!

Did you know? Summer should be a fun time for all kids but for those less fortunate, it can mean poor nutritional options, a less active lifestyle both physically & mentally.

Join corporate & community volunteers on June 7th for this year's signature Day of Action Event. Volunteers will pack 2500 “Stay Fit. Stay Smart” summer bags filled books, pencils & funactive gear to encourage kids to keep reading & stay active all summer long. Bags will be distributed throughout Passaic County by partner agencies with summer programs for at-risk children. Children will also learn and experience fresh new ways to eat more fruits & vegetables.

A $10 registration fee includes a t-shirt and helps cover costs.

IMPORTANT!!! Anyone 18 years old or older, must present a  government issued ID in order to enter the Wayne YMCA.  You  will not be permitted to enter the building or participate in United Way Day of Action without this. Please be sure your team and fellow volunteers are aware so everyone can participate!
