Prayer For Our Country
O Most Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of Mercy, at this most critical time, we entrust the United States of America to your loving care. Most Holy Mother, we beg you to reclaim this land for the glory of your Son. Overwhelmed with the burden of the sins of our nation, we cry to you from the depths of our hearts and seek refuge in your motherly protection.
Look down with mercy upon us and touch the hearts of our people. Open our minds to the great worth of human life and to the responsibilities that accompany human freedom. Free us from the falsehoods that lead to the evil of abortion and threaten the sanctity of family life. Grant our country the wisdom to proclaim that God's law is the foundation on which this nation was founded, and that He alone is the True Source of our cherished rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. O Merciful Mother, give us the courage to reject the culture of death and the strength to build a new Culture of Life. Amen

About Our Speaker:
Maria Kaczperski

Do you long to feel God’s hand upon you? Do you want to believe completely in His very real love for you? No matter where you may be in your walk with the Lord, Maria’s testimony will enhance your faith as well as your sense of awe and wonder at God’s mercy, tenderness, love and healing.
At first glance, our speaker is an unassuming, smiling, gentle soul, which belies her exquisite creativity, gifted intellect, professional achievements, and
beautiful, faith-filled spirit.
In her talk, Maria will describe how she and her family were “cultural” Catholics attending mass every Sunday and receiving all the sacraments, as expected by her Colombian, South American upbringing. But as she was growing up, having a personal relationship with Our Lord and serving Him were not part of her faith journey.
This first generation American worked hard to meet the expectations of two very different cultures. The external appearance of a happy, well-adjusted daughter concealed tremendous interior suffering. While in her twenties, she finally suffered a total emotional and mental break from reality. Blessedly, though, in her words, “God met me inside of my breakdown.”
When Maria began attending RCIA classes years later, she fell madly in love with Jesus. Just as she was preparing to devote her life to becoming a full-time missionary, she learned God had other plans for her.
Maria, Creative Director at EWTN and dedicated Holy Infant of Prague parishioner, will share how God has forgiven her many times over and assured
her that she is indeed His intricately-made child whom He loves without reservation. Maria’s witness will deeply touch all who hear her speak. Her message
is a simple but profound reminder that God loves us in our imperfection, inspiring hope in our own lives.

Tickets by mail are $15.00 per person. Your request must be postmarked by
October 20, 2018 to allow adequate time to receive your ticket.
Tickets for priests and religious are complimentary, but reservations are required
and this may be done online or by contacting Donna Chmielarski at 205-408-0308.
If you are unable to afford a ticket but want to attend the meal, please call Donna and arrangements will be made for a ticket to be sent to you.

The Rosary will be prayed prior to the meal at 9:00 a.m. in an adjoining room.
Confessions will be available at the end of the meal.
Religious books, gifts and CD's are available for purchase at the end of the meal.
Since the day is designed to speak to the hearts of women, free of distractions, it is respectfully requested that young children under the age of 14 not be in attendance.
