Prayer For Our Country
O Most Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of Mercy, at this most critical time, we entrust the United States of America to your loving care. Most Holy Mother, we beg you to reclaim this land for the glory of your Son. Overwhelmed with the burden of the sins of our nation, we cry to you from the depths of our hearts and seek refuge in your motherly protection.
Look down with mercy upon us and touch the hearts of our people. Open our minds to the great worth of human life and to the responsibilities that accompany human freedom. Free us from the falsehoods that lead to the evil of abortion and threaten the sanctity of family life. Grant our country the wisdom to proclaim that God's law is the foundation on which this nation was founded, and that He alone is the True Source of our cherished rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. O Merciful Mother, give us the courage to reject the culture of death and the strength to build a new Culture of Life. Amen

About Our Speaker:
Carolyn Wright

Carolyn was born in Memphis, Tennessee — a long time ago — to two wonderful parents. She has an older sister, younger brother, multiple nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, one husband, two dogs, a godson and host of loving friends.
Carolyn is a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Homewood, Alabama, where she serves in the Liturgical and Eucharistic ministries. She was also the founding Coordinator of the Birmingham, Chapter of Magnificat, a Ministry to Catholic Women, and has been involved in Magnificat in a variety of capacities for the last 25 years.
Growing up and growing older was anything but uneventful for Carolyn! At 9 years old, she had a bout of German measles with lasting side effects. This was one of the 1st challenges she had to surmount. Life was full of challenges and events that shaped her into the woman she is today.
Carolyn has been blessed with the gift of service. To those who know her, she is always available to celebrate good times, lift you up when you are down, visit when you are sick and help you mourn following a loss.

Tickets by mail are $15.00 per person. Your request must be postmarked by
August 17, 2018 to allow adequate time to receive your ticket.
Tickets for priests and religious are complimentary, but reservations are required
and this may be done online or by contacting Donna Chmielarski at 205-408-0308.
If you are unable to afford a ticket but want to attend the meal, please call Donna and arrangements will be made for a ticket to be sent to you.

No tickets are sold at the door.
Doors open at 9:15 a.m. for open seating .
The Rosary will be prayed prior to the meal at 9:00 a.m. in an adjoining room.
Confessions will be available at the end of the meal.
Religious books, gifts and CD's are available for purchase at the end of the meal.
Since the day is designed to speak to the hearts of women, free of distractions, it is respectfully requested that young children under the age of 14 not be in attendance.
