NDI Special Populations Workshop - March 2014 

This intensive two-day workshop for artists and educators will immerse participants in NDI's award-winning arts education pedagogy as it applies to teaching children with special needs. Participants will learn to engage special learners and reveal their abilities through dance, music, and performance while gaining the inspiration and the tools to motivate children to individual and collective excellence.

 

Led by NDI Master Teacher and clinical psychologist Dr. Jenny Seham, participants will put NDI's unique methods into practice by working with dancers at two NDI partner schools: PS 199M and the Filomen D'Agostino Greenberg Music School at Lighthouse International. Trainees will emerge from the workshop with powerful strategies to enhance their current practice or to begin the process of expanding their reach to dancers of all abilities.
