Content Restoration 

The Content Restoration course provides an overview of restoring damaged contents after a fire/water loss. Considerations of the best procedures for restoring a multitude of types of contents will be discussed as well as a demonstration. After completing the course the licensee should have knowledge of information they can use to protect the health, welfare, and safety of the policyholder, and to reduce the cost for content restoration.

 What you will learn:

•  Types of contents (hard goods, soft goods, garments, electronics, specialty, etc)
• Basics of cleaning and deodorizing contents
• Methods of content cleaning
• Determining value of objects, amount of coverage and importance of a home inventory
• Pack out procedures

About the Instructor

Ron Clawson has over 20 years experience working with insurance and real estate industry professionals with solutions to manage restoration-related issues. His experience with Rainbow International includes assisting insurers with efficient claims processing involving fire, smoke, water, and mold damage to structures.  Related training includes on-site mitigation assistance, fire and smoke restoration, odor control and certification from the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration (IICRC) in Water Damage Restoration.
