Presentation #1—Church Culture: Developing the Heart of Who You Are

In his great book, The Advantage, bestselling author Patrick Lencioni demonstrates that a great corporate culture gives a business or a church a huge advantage.  But this isn't about business as usual; our concern is the business of the King!  Join me as we "go deep" together, exploring how to genuinely, authentically, have the kind of culture in our ministries that draws people to Jesus. 

Presentation #2—The Heart of the Leader: Dealing with Narcissism in Ministry 

Narcissism is on the rise and the Church is not immune.  Outwardly gifted and charismatic, narcissistic church leaders are a real problem.  Come find out how to more wisely deal with this type of personality.

Presentation #3-- Concession Vs. Intercession: Placing Prayer at the Heart of Ministry 

We have truly conceded a lot of ground to the world and society at large.  The place for believers as intercessors should be one of the last negotiables.  Learn in this session how to overcome prayer weaknesses and embrace the passion for prayer and intercession.

In sports, teams have an owner, a coach, a team captain, and the team players.  In ministry, God is our owner, we have to identify our coach, and our team captain.  Then we can assign the tasks to the rest of the members: practical ideas, indentifying leaders, recruiting team members, communication, and encouragement, and support.

Adult/Leadership: Leading by Following the Heart of Jesus

Years ago, I was told by an older pastor that I needed to figure out how to lead my church by following Jesus.  I though, "What an awesome concept."  As the years have rolled by, I've discovered just how important this is and just how gloriously possible this is.  Join me as we learn about leading a ministry by following the heart of Jesus.
