The GPAHU welcomes guest presenter Jonathan Warner, owner of JP Warner Benefits and Human Resource Administrators, a licensed TPA (Third Party Administrator).  Jon sold his first self-funded client 31 years ago, and continues to work with a significant block of self-funded employers. His career has included time as a Group Representative, TPA Vice President, Wholesaler of Stop Loss Insurance, Broker and Consultant. A CEBS Fellow (Certified Employee Benefits Specialist) for many years, Jon is a published author and respected innovator in our industry.   

Along with GPAHU Board Member and course co-presenter, Christopher Handley of Savoy Associates, they will discuss:

• The mechanics of traditional self-funding plans work
• Current variations in self-funding plans (level funded, retrospective plans, cost sharing funding, consortiums/captives, stop loss)
• Review of Case Studies (small group, mid-market, large group)
