Low Carbon Transportation - PM Listening Session for Western New York

In his 2018 State of the State, Governor Cuomo directed New York’s environmental, energy, and transportation agencies to work together towards a cleaner, safer, and more reliable low-carbon transportation future. In response, these agencies (NYSDEC, NYSERDA, and NYSDOT) are hosting regional stakeholder discussions to encourage conversations around clean transportation. As your organization, community, or industry sector has considerable interest in transportation, energy and environmental strategies, your input is essential.

We invite you to engage in discussion on the economic and social considerations for deploying clean transportation strategies; how you or your organization could support and benefit from opportunities to enhance environmental and public health benefits through a modernized transportation system; how innovative, low-carbon transportation may enhance your quality of life or otherwise affect the competitiveness of your sector, business or community; and what policies and programs may help advance this vision.

This event is FREE.  Light refreshments will be served.

Check out some alternative fuel vehicles on display at the Clean Communities of Western New York Alternative Fuels Ride and Drive event taking place from 9:00am - 3:00pm at the same location!
