Bay Wise Kayak Tours:

January 16th at Leffis and Jewfish Keys

Join Sarasota Bay Estuary Program for a free educational paddle around the bay. American Canoe Association Instructor, naturalist, and SBEP Citizen Advisory Committee member Brad Tanner will lead an educational kayak tour around Leffis and Jewfish Keys. 

Please note: Participants must bring or rent their own kayak and gear. If you have never kayaked before, we strongly suggest that you take a class or participate in a “demo day” with a local kayak rental company BEFORE your Bay Wise trip.  Bay Wise kayak tours are not recommended for novice kayakers.

We hope to bring the Bay Wise kayak tours to as many people as possible - please help support this effort by limiting your participation to two trips per season.

Minors under 18 must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian in order to participate.  Children under 10 years of age are discouraged from participating.
