November 2016 Global Health Series - Global Health at Home: South Asians and Coronary Disease

The Global Health Residency Tracks of Christiana Care Health System , in partnership with the Delaware Academy of Medicine & Delaware Public Health Association, are pleased to invite you to this month's global health talk.

Our speaker will be Vinay Hosmane, MD, MPH

Dr. Vinay Hosmane is a Delaware local from Lewes, DE who has completed most of his medical training locally. He is a third generation physician and has practiced Cardiology for seven years. He is board certified in Cardiology and Echocardiography. His research has been cited internationally and by the American Heart Association Guidelines. In addition, he has a Master’s Degree in Public Health with a concentration in Health Promotion/Disease Prevention and has a interest in Preventive Medicine, especially Cardiovascular Risk Reduction.

The CCHS Global Health Curriculum is an interdepartmental collaboration, supporting the Global Health Tracks in the Depts. of Medicine and Family Medicine, and the Med-Peds Residency, with the support of the Delaware Academy of Medicine, Delaware Public Health Association, and Delaware Academy of Family Physicians.

There is no charge to attend this event, but registration is required. Food and Refreshments will be served.
