The John Scholz Stroke Education Conference is dedicated to the memory of John P. Scholz, PT, PhD, a highly regarded movement scientist renowned for his ability to take complex theoretical concepts of motor control and apply them to the understanding and treatment of neurologic problems.

Dr. Scholz was professor of Physical Therapy at the University of Delaware, and, for many years, a member of the Board of Directors of the Delaware Stroke Initiative.
