Brazilian Film & TV Industry: Increasing Economic Leverage

Join us to learn and discuss how the richest state in Brazil is advancing its Film & TV industry to create jobs and economic growth, leveraging special projects in Entertainment and Innovation.

Hear firsthand from government officials, experts and industry leaders their thoughts on São Paulo's economic outlook and opportunities for partnerships and investments.

We are honored to welcome Governor João Doria Júnior in his first official visit to California, and look forward to hearing him and his team and the delegation share their plans, objectives and projects.
São Paulo is the richest and most populous state in Brazil, with over 45 million residents and GDP of $1.25 trillion (2018) - one third of Brazil's GDP. Its capital city, bearing the same name, is the largest city in South America, making São Paulo one of the country’s and the continent’s most significant areas. With over 3 million immigrants and 70 different nationalities represented, Sao Paulo also prides itself on being the most cosmopolitan state in South America.
