Robotics I

 6th-12th Grade

For the first time Robotic Campers.  This summer's robotic camp will offer students the opportunity to learn how to construct robotic devices and then program them to carry out tasks.  The camp will introduce students to the topic of computer science through its relation to robotics.  Robots will be designed to perform both with human guidance and autonomously.  Robots may be built to "see" a black line on white paper, "hear" the clap of hands, or "feel" the presence of an obstacle in their path.  The camp will nicely complement the annual Crowley's Ridge BEST Robotics program offered for areas sixth to twelfth grade students each fall.
