Summer Scholars 2013

When:   June 24 - June 28

Time:   8:30-11:30 a.m.
             (Ages  4—8)

             12:30-3:30 p.m.
             (Ages 9—12)

 Where:

             Fox Meadow Elementary School
             2305 Fox Meadow Lane
            Jonesboro, AR  72404

The school is on the south side of town, towards Harrisburg. Traveling south on Stadium you will come to the intersection/traffic light of Fox Meadow Lane and Stadium Blvd. Bill’s Fresh Market will be on your right. Turn right onto Fox Meadow Lane. The school is about half way down, and will be on your left. There is a parking lot in front of the school. A teacher will be standing there to receive your children. 

Cost:    The cost is $75.00. All payments will be sent to the ASU Cashier. 

Who:  Children ages 4 to 12 may attend.  Parents should indicate if older children have been identified as Gifted, Talented or Creative in their school setting.  However, identification is not necessary for children to attend and participate in the program for Summer Scholars.

What:  The children will engage in a warm up activity, center activities, independent research, learning experience trips, and field-based exploration.  There will be a snack served midway through the morning or afternoon.  Daily, parents will receive an itinerary of activities planned for the following day.  It will be a fun filled experience packed with learning and exploration!
