This year the Hook-a-Heart Bass Tournament will benefit two great central Arkansas providers- Civitan Services and UCP of Arkansas along with the men, women and children they serve. The tournament will be Sunday, October 2nd on the Arkansas River wtih take-off and weigh-in at Murray Park in Little Rock. To make sure the tournament is run professionally, we have partnered with Frank Leone, experienced tournament director and owner of get5bass.com.
The tournament is open to all amateur anglers sixteen years and older and there should be two fishers per boat. Entry fee is $100 per boat and should be turned in to Civitan Services. Entries turned in after September 28th will have a $25 late penalty.
The first place team is guaranteed a $1,000 cash prize. Cash and prizes will also be awarded to teams finishing second through fifth place but the total payout will be determined by the number of boat entries. Fishermen will also have the opportunity to pay to enter and win a cash prize for the biggest bass weighed in for the day.
To get a copy of the official rules, please contact the Civitan Center Monday through Friday at 776-0691. You can also download an entry form and rules at civitanservices.com or pick one up from various local fishing and sporting goods retailers in Central Arkansas.
