2018 Annual Learning Conference

Join us for the Illinois Association of Community Action Agencies 2018 Annual Learning Conference May 6-8, 2018!  This year's theme is "The Promise to the Pathway of Community Action."  The Promise is a pledge for Community Action to help the families and individuals we serve achieve self-sufficiency and make positive changes in our communities.  Informative training and sharing best practices is the key for our network to fulfill that promise.

The Promise of Community Action:

Community Action changes people's lives, embodies the spirit of hope, improves communities, and makes America a better place to live. We care about the entire community, and we are dedicated to helping people help themselves and each other.

Along with our signature events, we have some great keynote speakers lined up and four exciting conference tracks that speak to our committment to the implementation of The Promise of Community Action:

• "Spirit of Hope" Track-Cultural Competency, Self-care, Collaboration and Partnerships and Local Theory of Change.
• "Improves Communities" Track-Leadership and Board Training.
• "A Better Place to Live" Track- Workplace Safety, Trauma Informed Practices, Opioid Crisis and a Preview of Family Centered Coaching.
