IACAA Peer Consulting Certification Training 

The Peer Consulting Certification training prepares individuals interested in participating in peer review (assessments) to be effective consultants at local Community Action Agencies.  This training is designed not only to standardize the peer process but also empower reviewers with consulting skills that can be applied at their own agencies. The certification consists of day and a half experiential classroom training and then an on-the-job experience on a peer review.

The training will cover these basics:

• Consulting skills
• Systems and Big Picture
• Diagnosing Agencies and use of revised peer assessment tool
• Providing feedback to peer agencies
• Managing the Change Process

Who should attend:

• CAA staff that have participated on peer reviews
• CAA staff interested in participating on peer reviews
