I-70 Challenge (2014 Orange Barrel)

It is time for this year's battle for the Orange Barrel. The Dayton and Columbus Chapters will go head-to-head in a 2-person team challenge on Saturday, August 2nd. If you've played in this competition before, you know just how much fun and excitement is had by all. If you are thinking about playing for the first time, you will have a great time.

Below are the event details:

Cost:
$50 per player (includes 18-holes with a cart and dinner)

Event Schedule
11:00 a.m.-- Registration begins
12:00 noon -- Shotgun start
Dinner immediately following play

Format:
* EWGA Chapter Members only (players of all levels are encouraged to participate)
* Handicap index or average of five (5) 18-hole scores required
* 2-person teams from each Chapter (paired by handicaps with no more than 6 strokes differential)
* Match play format to follow rules of four ball match play per EWGA Champions Cup (see link below for more details)
* The Chapter winning the most matches WINS the trophy and bragging rights until next year.
