The primary purpose of networking in home care is to meet new people that you do not already know who are in a position to refer new clients to your business.  And LinkedIn is a great way for you to meet those new people virtually, on more casual terms, and via people you already know!  This can make those new connections a little warmer than if you happened to meet them at a networking event and it makes it a more personal connection because you both already have a connection in common.

 After some recent conversations at workshops and with clients, we have found that some marketing people don’t even know what LinkedIn is, so they obviously don’t understand that it can make the very important networking process, much easier, or they say “yeah, we’re on there, but we don’t do much with it because we don’t know how to use it effectively.”  Well, Jill is here to tell you what LinkedIn is, how you can use it effectively, and how you can foster those relationships virtually.
