Summer Music Classes & Camps (Ages 0-12)

VMA is offering two summer Musikgarten classes for children ages 4 months through 7 years and a one week Music Theater Camp for students age 8-12.  Summer is a time for music and family fun. Introduce your child to explore music in an exciting new way this summer.

VMA Music Theater Camp 
(Registration Closes July 6 - Register Now)

Back for a second year, VMA offers an introduction to Music Theater for students age 8 - 12.  The Music Theater class will be held on July 14 - 18 from 9 AM - 12 Noon with a program presentation on Friday at 11 AM. Parents, friends and family are encouraged to attend this fun musical presentation.

Join us as we take the stage!  Together we will explore choreography, vocal technique and how to portray a character in song.  Through warm-ups, group activities, and games, campers will learn how the voice works, proper techniques for breathing, posture, and diction.  Gain ocnfidence and skill at acting while singing and dancing.  Campers will work on group and solo numbers to showcase at the end of camp on Friday.

Camp will be taught by VMA faculty Karen Palumbo. 

Tuition for the Camp is $99.00.  Materials are included.

Twist & Turn  
(REGISTRATION CLOSED - CLASS IS FULL)

Music Makers for Little Ones Present "Twist & Turn".  Nursery Rhymes + Music = Fun for Children and Parents.  This class is a Brand New Class, never before offered at VMA.  Bring your little ones, from babies through age 3 and enjoy this exciting, fun-filled class with Miss Karen.  Parents or caretakers will participate with each child during this class.

Classes will last for 6 weeks and will meet on Wednesdays from 6:30-7:00 PM beginning June 18 through July 23, 2014. 

Materials for this class are optional, but are encouraged.  Tuition is $75.00.  Optional Materials:  $32.00

Music Makers at the Seashore
(REGISTRATION CLOSED - CLASS IS FULL)

VMA presents Music Makers at the Seashore.  This six week course is geared for children ages 4 - 7.  The class will be offered on Wednesday evenings from 5:15-6:15 PM beginning Wednesday, June 18 through July 23.

Materials for this class are required.  If you have an older sibling that has already taken this class and you stil have your materials, you will only need to purchase the sibling pack.  If you have two or more children taking the class at the same time, you will only need to purchase one family pack and then a sibling pack for each additional child.  Parents or caretakers will participate the last few minutes of each class. 

Class will last for 6 weeks and will meet on Wednesdays from 5:15 - 6:15 PM beginning June 18 through July 23, 2014.

Materials for this class are required.  Tuition is $95.00.  Materials:  $33.00.
