The practitioner will learn about new plan designs that can substantially increase the deductible contribution for highly compensated employees in small to medium sized companies. Upon completion of the course, the practitioner will be able to advise clients on whether a qualified plan review is appropriate given the client’s goals.

Brian is responsible for preparing retirement plan studies and proposals, including employee education presentations to plan participants and existing clients. Brian works on all aspects of retirement plan design and provides regulatory and consultative support surrounding client retirement plans. Brian is a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries (ASPPA) as a Qualified 401(k) Administrator.

Companies both large and small suffer from one thing: the high cost of the health insurance they provide to their employees. Conventional methods such as reducing benefits and/or increasing employee contributions are not the only answer. In this course, the practitioner will learn alternative strategies currently available to help all of their clients in this messy and complicated maze without reducing coverage while enhancing employee appreciation and morale.
Bill Corson, CLU, ChFC is Vice President of the Group Benefits Division at AEPG. A Colgate University graduate, Bill has enjoyed a 30 year career dedicated to the marketing of benefit programs for small to medium sized employers. Bill’s job is to improve both the value and communication tools of a client’s employee benefit plan. A former President of the Northern New Jersey Association of Health Underwriters, Bill maintains the highest level of expertise and integrity while specializing in the implementation of tax favored health insurance programs such as Health Savings Accounts and Health Reimbursement Arrangements.
