The 2010 Tax Act provides both opportunities and challenges for your high net worth clients.  This course will provide a working knowledge of both aspects and of the time sensitive nature of getting clients to update their estate plans.  Reunification of the estate and gift tax laws as well as analysis of the portability provision between spouses will be reviewed in detail.

Elliot Kramer, ESQ, JD, LLM is member of the firm of Goldman & Kramer, A Professional Corporation, in Roseland, New Jersey.  Elliot received his bachelor’s degree from Rutgers College, his J.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania and his LL.M. Life Insurance "Check-up" - 1 Credit

Presented By: Donald Goldberg, JD, CLU, ChFC

Most permanent life insurance policies issued in the last 25 years are underperforming their original projections and left to their own may be just a few years away from lapsing with disastrous results to the practitioner’s clients, their families and businesses.  By the end of the course the practitioner should have a basic understanding of the issues involved and will be provided access to a tool to analyze and compare policy performance before it’s too late.  Special consideration will be given to trust owned life insurance due to the trustee’s fiduciary liability.

Donald Goldberg, JD, CLU, ChFC has over 35 years experience in the fields of Life, Disability and Long Term Care insurance.  He is a past president of the North Jersey Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals where he also served as a board member for many years. This society’s mission is to provide credentialed financial service professionals the opportunity for continued education development through meetings and seminars.  In addition to being an attorney, Don holds the professional designations of Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant.
