EWGA QC LEAGUE REGISTRATION

Please register for the leagues you wish to play on this summer.  To participate in an EWGAQC league either as a player or a sub, you must be a member in good standing and your annual membership dues must be paid and current.

NOTE: On the League Registration page, wherever the price column says "Free" it simply means there is no up-front fee to pay at registration. Green fees will be required and payable at the course when you play. Duck Creek Wednesday PM League and Palmer Hills League have two payment options: Register and PAY ON-LINE (a small credit card fee is included) or Register and pay by CHECK at a lower rate with no additional fees added. Checks are to be sent to the Chapter.

This year we have two types of regular leagues:

Pay-As-You-Go leagues:  All three of the Travel Leagues, Duck Creek Monday AM, Glynns Creek Partner Match Play, Highland Springs, Glynns Creek Pairs and the Sunday Fall leagues are pay-as-you-go.

  • When you register for the Duck Creek Monday AM, Glynns Creek Partner Match Play, Highland Springs, and the Sunday Fall leagues you are making a commitment to be a regular player on the league and pay green fees at the course.  Planned absences must be reported to the League Captain at least 48 hours in advance for tee time adjustment with the course.

  • For all three travel leagues and Glynns Creek Pairs League, the League Captain will contact everyone registered via email on a weekly basis*. You will need to respond to let the League Captain know whether or not you plan to play.  (*Glynns Creek Pairs plays bi-weekly and is the only league that permits non-member spouses to participate as a playing partner.)

Pay in Advance leagues

The Palmer Hills League uses a pre-paid gift card to pay green fees each week. When you register for the league, you will be required to pay for the entire season in advance. The payment will be used to purchase a Palmer Hills gift card for every Palmer Hills League member. This means that if you must miss a week of golf, your money will not be lost. The 16 week price for the season is $288 ($18 per week). Any money remaining on the card can be used in the clubhouse for food, golf supplies or equipment. This league requires players to have a handicap index of 29 or less.

The Duck Creek Wednesday PM League uses a pre-paid gift card to pay green fees for 8 weeks of the season, the remaining 8 weeks are pay-as-you-go. When you register for the league, you will be required to pay for 8 weeks of the league in advance.  The payment will be used to purchase a City of Davenport Golf Course gift card for every Duck Creek Wednesday PM League member.  The price for 8 weeks of the season is $88 ($11 per week).  We expect the card to be used for the league, but but any remaining money can be used at Duck Creek, Emeis, or Red Hawk Golf Courses. This league is for golfers of all levels.

Partners Match Play Challenge

The Partners Match Play Challenge is not a league in the typical sense.  This is a summer-long tournament designed for intermediate to advanced golfers.  It is made up of 12 two-person teams divided into two Divisions. The teams in each division schedule matches on dates and courses acceptable to both of the competing teams. On September 29th the 1st and 2nd place teams from each division compete head-to-head in a playoff to determine the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place winners of the competition.  (This tournament uses handicaps to determine "strokes" given to balance player skill levels. All participants must have a current and verifiable USGA Handicap Index of 36 or less to register.)

Not able to play as a "regular" on a league?  Here are options for playing as a sub:

-  You may register to play as a sub for the Duck Creek Monday AM, Duck Creek Wednesday PM, Glynns Creek Partner Match Play, Palmer Hills, Glynns Creek Pairs and Sunday Fall leagues, but subs will be required to pay the regular green fees at these courses on the day of play.

-  Sub lists will be provided to each League Captain on these leagues. If you register as a sub, please do your best to be available when asked to play.  Subs must meet the skill level requirements designated for each of these leagues.

Registration dates - You must register to attend Kick Off by April 8th at 11:59 pm if you would like to be able to register for leagues beginning at 5:00 on Monday, April 9th. If you register after that, or are not attending Kick-Off, you may register for leagues beginning at 5:00 on Wednesday, April 11th. We ask that you do not plan to register at Kick-Off, as we will have a limited number of computers available that will be used primarily for new member registrations.  Registration for leagues will close on MAY 2ND.

Please register for all leagues you wish to play in or sub on AT ONE TIME.  You will not be able to access your form once it has been submitted.  If you decide to register for any additional leagues, you must use a different email address to do so.
