A critically important part of good board management is ensuring the availability of adequate funds. As a board member, one of your responsibilities is to oversee your organization's fundraising efforts. This workshop will help you develop the tools and insight to help your fellow board and staff members overcome the most feared moment in fundraising – “making the ask.” Understand the roles you can play and the approaches you can use that result in comfortably, successfully, soliciting a contribution. Fundraising truly is a “team sport” so bring your team, roll up your sleeves, and let’s have some fun learning how to bring in more support for your organization!
