Do you have a few karmic knots or nagging habits you would love to release in 2017? Read on...
Conflict is one of the universal patterns of behavior people use when stressed or anxious.
The pattern called emotional distance or cutoff causes pain that is hard to ignore.
If there’s a problem between two people, a third person often gets included. Sometimes a real solution is found, and sometimes it isn't. This can multiply distress. The pattern itself is referred to as triangling.
Bowen called this overfunctioning/underfunctioning reciprocity.
What can be done to help all these relationship challenges?
Let Integrative Bowen and EMDR (iBE) show you how!

What is the difference between iBE group therapy and traditional group therapy?
iBE is quiet and private, even though it's in a group setting.
The feeling of an Integrative Bowen and EMDR (iBE) group is somewhat like a group meditation. Once each memory-healing project is completed in the workshop, you can then share what the experience was like for you if you wish. We can all benefit from what group members do want to share.
What can I expect to gain from the workshop?
Become more centered and calmly conscious in your relationships
Develop more vital connections
Enjoy a caring support system
Free up more space in heart and mind for people -- and for prayer and meditation
Be more available for your relationship with God in the present moment
Dana Terrell, LCSW (CA Lic. No. 13773)
I began integrating Bowen and EMDR in 1997. My research has shown that iBE Therapy can produce a greater gain in emotional maturity in one year than Bowen thought possible in one lifetime. A Bowen-trained therapist who experienced iBE Therapy said, “This is like Bowen on steroids!”
Dana is bringing her iBE group therapy workshop to Castro Valley January 13 and 14:

Option to Participate in Research:
Since Dana is conducting research, if you agree to complete research assessment before, after, and three months follow-up, you may attend for just $100. In this way you benefit yourself and serve a greater good. The feedback may help us to improve the protocol.
NOTE: If you have had a bad experience in group or individual therapy or have experienced early abuse or neglect, it might be recommended to have an individual session by VSee (a HIPPA-compliant version of Skype) with Dana Terrell before the group event. We might need to consider if group therapy would meet your needs or if individual therapy would be a better fit. Please call Dana at (619) 322-3666 to discuss this with her.
