"Putting the Mix in mixed use: What makes it Great?"

Mixed use developments are part of a growing cultural need. New urban centers are developing at an astonishing rate, transforming both cities and suburbia into multi-nodal densified neighborhoods. What is necessary to make such developments great? How can we do our part to craft richly cultured neighborhoods that are integrated, compelling, and inclusive for everyone? Ross Conway, a Principal at Gensler and Design Director for the Mixed Use Practice Area, will delve into some relevant Gensler projects such as Music Factory, Park Lane, Bishop Arts, and Legacy West to illustrate how to curate a robust, genuine mix in mixed use developments.
