Proposal Writing Basics

If your organization is considering or currently seeking grants from Foundations, this

workshop is for you.  Led by John Carresse of the San Francisco Bay Center of

Excellence City College of San Francisco the following learning outcomes will be

accomplished throughout the workshop:  1) How the proposal fits into the overall

grantseeking process; 2) What to include in a standard proposal to a foundation; 3) Tips

for making each section of your proposal stronger; 4) What funders expect to see in your

proposal and attachments; 5)  Tips for communicating with funders during the grant

process; and 6) Additional resources on proposal writing, including sample proposals.
