Master Recycler Spring Social - 2017

Join the Washington County Solid Waste & Recycling and City of Beaverton staff and fellow Master Recyclers for a social to kick-off the spring season. We will talk about volunteer opportunities, program updates and local news. There will also be time to share about your own volunteer experiences as Master Recyclers.   

When: Monday, March 20, 2017, 6:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m.

Where: Beaverton City Hall, Council Chambers; 12725 SW Millikan Way, Beaverton, OR 97005; Located at the Beaverton Central MAX station

6:00 p.m. - 6:20 p.m. Arrive, dinner (pizza provided; potluck), chat 

6:20 p.m. - 6:40 p.m. Team trivia

6:40 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Local waste reduction news, program updates

7:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Eat Smart, Waste Less update, movie clips and volunteer opportunities

7:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Discussion on spring outreach opportunities and personal experiences and projects. Successes and challenges tabling, doing door-to-door outreach, and creating engaging activities.

Don't forget

Please bring your own eating and drinking ware. Remember to bring an empty food storage container for leftovers. No food left behind! :)

If you are not able to bring a dish, please join us anyway. If you would like to bring a dish, but are not sure what type of food, below are suggestions based on the first letter of your last name:

• A-F: Dessert
• G-L: Beverage — non-alcoholic
• M-Q: Fruit, vegetable, salad
  
• R-V: Starch
• W-Z: Extra durable dishware, glassware, silverware and napkins for folks who forget
