Providing students equitable learning opportunities and resources for bilingual classrooms has been a difficult task due to the quality, quantity, and availability of resources in Spanish. At Custom Education Solutions, we are dedicated to supporting schools with a large selection of authentic, high quality Spanish resources. Please join National Biliteracy Consultant, Barbara Andrews for a morning session as we focus on the pedagogy for workshop model and how to design high quality units of instruction. We will take a hands-on approach as attendees examine components such as read alouds, mini-lessons, small group instruction, writing and phonics for the bilingual classroom.

AFTERNOON SESSION

1:00 PM - 3:30 PM 

Attendees will be able to select how to best use the afternoon. You may work collaboratively in developing units of instruction, participate in an overview session focused on the intervention program called Soluciones, or learn more about Sound-Spelling Transfer Kit.

*Coffee and pastries will be provided. Registration begins at 8:00 AM.
