Webinar - Custom Office 101

 

Your Sage 100 ERP license most likely includes the Custom Office module (do you see the module listed in your list of modules?).  This very powerful module allows you to do many things -- from the very simple to the very complex.

This one hour web-based session is designed to give you an overview of what you can do with the Custom Office module.   By the end of this one hour web session, you will have a much greater appreciation for what the module can do.  As a minimum, you will certainly be able to add a new field to a common table (Customer Maintenance, for example) and add this field to the screen.

Here’s a list of some of the things that you can do in Custom Office:

  • Change the attributes of a standard field so that it is required or only selected values can be used (Advanced Field Settings)
  • Add a new table to assist in sorting/reporting (User Defined Tables)
  • Add a new field to an existing table (User Defined Field)
  • Add the new field to the screen (Customizer)
  • Create a script that will check for valid data or calculate/populate new fields (User Defined Script)

This webinar is geared toward a Sage 100 ERP user who has good familiarity with Sage 100 ERP screens and can ‘visualize’ where your accounting data is stored.  To get maximum benefit from this session, you may want to plan to view the webinar on one PC/screen and then have another PC/screen available where you can follow along using your own Sage 100 ERP system!
