The last portion of the class will be dedicated to building & updating your Family Tree using Family Tree Maker and Ancestry.com.
What to Bring to Class: - Laptop (either PC or Mac) to save your family tree on Family Tree Maker 2017 (a software package you can be given or you can buy the latest version online.) If you don’t bring your laptop you will need to bring in a flash drive to transfer the software & file to your home desktop. If you don’t have a laptop temporary use of a laptop will be available but please let us know in advance. If you use a mouse bring your mouse pad. Note: You could do your research on-line with a Smartphone or tablet, but it is significantly harder and slower - without the benefits of a larger screen and the ability to easily print results and charts.
