Enter into a hidden world of beauty where you will discover the magic of semi-precious stones. You will learn how to identify many local beautiful stones and learn how they were formed. You will be able to work in a modern lapidary shop equipped with diamond wheels where you will learn the art of cutting, shaping, and polishing. You will be given petrified wood, thunder eggs, agate and jasper which make beautiful jewelry and unique Christmas gifts when finished. Wear rubber-sole shoes and some type of ear protection. All supplies are provided.

Continuing Education Refund Policy
Full refunds are given for canceled classes. Student requested refunds may be granted.
100% Refund - Three business days before class starts. The day that class begins does not count as one of the three business days. For example, to receive a full refund for a class that begins on Friday, the student needs to contact the Extended Learning Department by Tuesday.
40% Refund - Less than three business days before class starts.
No refund given the day of or after class has started.
Classes that involve travel are an exception. Each trip has its own refund policy. If you have questions about the refund policy for a particular class, please contact us.
All student requested refunds must be made by the student themselves either by telephone, 509-527-4331, in person, or by email.
Refunds take approximately two weeks to process.
