SPRING 2021 WORKSHOP COURSE DESCRIPTION :
This brief workshop covers a survey of integrating Theistic Buddhism into our Social and Personal life.
Day 1 First Session = Sat 5/15/2021 , 9:00 am to 9:45 am Topic: Buddhist Cognitive Philosophy.
-Stress Management, Personality and Emotion adjustment.
Break = 9:45 am to 10:00 am
Day 1 Second session = 10:00 am to 11:00 am Method: Comprehension, Contemplation and Q&A.
-Analytical and Relaxation meditation, Cultivation of Awareness and Mindfulness
Day 2 First session = Sun 5/16/2021 , 9:00 am to 9:45 am Topic: Buddhist Behavioral Philosophy.
-Self-control, Resilience, Relationship, Coping addictive and obsessive habits.
Break = 9:45 am to 10:00 am
Day 2 Second session = 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
Method: Comprehension, Contemplation, Meditation and Q&A.
-Analytical and Relaxation meditation, Cultivation of Meta-awareness and Mindfulness.
Workshop Objectives/Goals:
- Will explore how powerful and competent the mind is.
- Will develop an understanding of oneself theoretically and experientially through self-assessment.
- Will think analytically and constructively on the strategies of coping with our dominative and harmful emotions. - Will gain ideas on how to build tolerance, resilience, social sense and self-efficacy.
- Will gain knowledge on the importance of the Buddhist approach in our religious, personal, social, and civic life.
