Pitches, Pints and Pie 

On Thursday, March 19^th, from 5:30 to 7:30,MCED and the Casco Bay Tech Hub will present Pitches, Pints & Pie, a light-hearted pitch event that will be humorous, supportive and FUN. This free event will feature an hour of networking with beer and pizza followed by Pitching in the Business Innovation Center  located at 30 Danforth St., in Portland on the 2^nd floor. Everyone is welcome to attend but space is limited to 12 entrepreneurs for pitching. All entrepreneurs who pitch will receive prizes. The audience will actively participate in the judging process.

Categories for winners:  Audience Selection Winner, Mystery Judge Winner and Panel Selection Winner.

Super Simple Rules and Judging Criteria:
Pitches must be no longer than 3 minutes. No Poweroints or business plans will be allowed, just you and your idea. Entrepreneurs will be judged on their flashiness, charisma and “It” factors. The business idea will be judged on the coolness factor (a concept where the audience says, "Wow, that’s an awesome idea!") Judging will also take into consideration things like scalability, feasibility, degree of innovation, blah, blah, blah…you get the idea.
