Beltane

Beltane is a celebration of the rising generative power of Spring and the union that turns that power towards new creation. In the Temple, we particularly celebrate and honor the turning of the Wheel of the Year in conjunction with our Faerie Court allies, turning the wheel in all worlds for the mutual benefit of all. Come and join our dance!

Please plan to arrive at least 10-15 minutes prior to our start-time to get checked-in and settled before we begin. Once the doors are closed for ritual, no one will be admitted.

Temple of Witchcraft rituals are open to all, and no experience is necessary to participate in the celebration, only an open heart and open mind is required. Feel free to wear your ritual finery or robes if you so choose. If you have questions about the ritual, please email pisces@templeofwitchcraft.org.

Post-Ritual Potluck

We have the opportunity to share the bounty of our lives together as a community with our post-ritual potluck feast! Please consider bringing an item to share, based on the first letter of your last name:

  • A–E: A grain item, such as bread or crackers, possibly with an accompaniment like cheese or hummus, if you wish.
  • F-J: A side dish, perhaps a salad of seasonal vegetables or fruits (or both!). Try to keep salads vegetarian (no meat) or vegan (no animal products, including milk or cheese).
  • K-O: A main dish which could include a protein (either meat or vegetarian).
  • P-S: A sweet or savory dessert: cookies, cake, pie, fresh or dried fruit, chocolate (good for grounding!), etc.
  • T-Z: Beverages (non-alcoholic, please): tea, cider, fruit juice, lemonade, etc.

If you can, please label your food item so we know what it is and if it contains meat, is vegan (containing no animal products), vegetarian (containing eggs or dairy) or gluten-free, for those with dietary needs.

Our Mother Ministry will provide all the necessary eating utensils, cups, napkins, and so forth, although we encourage attendees to bring their own reusable eating-wear to minimize waste. Visit the Temple Store for our reusable bento boxes and support the Temple while also going green! If you have questions about what to bring, please email cancer@templeofwitchcraft.org.
