Maine Imbolc Ritual

Turn the Wheel this Imbolc with the Temple of Witchcraft for our Maine ritual where we celebrate the Light! We honor Bridget, the Goddess of Healing, Poetry, and Smithcraft. How will you dance with the season, invoking the Light within to carry you into a cycle of healing? What is the art that calls to you to pull from the roots of the Earth? We invite you to bring a new, special candle with you as we attune to the Sacred Flame.

Open to all faiths and traditions interested in celebrating the mystery of the seasons in Perfect Love and Trust. If you have questions about the ritual, please email: silver@templeofwitchcraft.org.

There will be an after-ritual potluck, please bring something to share with the community.

Blanket Drive

In New England the winter season often feels never-ending, and with these cold temps we're reminded of how important it is to blanket our community with warmth and care. This Imbolc the Temple will be holding a blanket drive. We will be collecting new or gently used (and clean) blankets, sleeping bags, comforters, and quilts to help individuals and families in need keep warm. If you have questions, please email donations@templeofwitchcraft.org.

Ritual Potluck

We have the opportunity to share the joy of community together with our after-sabbat potluck feast! Please bring an item to share, based on the first letter of your last name:
  • A–E: A sweet or savory dessert: cookies, cake, pie, fresh or dried fruit, chocolate (good for grounding!), etc.
  • F–J: Beverages (non-alcoholic, and no sodas, please): tea, cider, fruit juice, lemonade, etc.
  • K–O: A grain item such as bread or crackers, possibly with an accompaniment like cheese or hummus, if you wish.
  • P–S: A side dish, perhaps a salad of vegetables or fruits (or both!). Try to keep salads vegetarian (no meat) or vegan (no animal products, including milk or cheese).
  • T–Z: A main dish which could include a protein (either meat or vegetarian).
If you can, please label your food item so we know what it is.  As our event is held in a green sanctuary, please remember to bring your own reusable plate and cutlery in a zip-lock bag to reduce waste. Our Mother Ministry will provide the necessary serving utensils, cups, and napkins. Thank you for helping us to keep this event green! If you have questions about what to bring, please email cancer@templeofwitchcraft.org.
