Shape Shifting Through the Elements of Beltane With Matooka MoonBear

Shape shifting is a powerful way to bring the experience of being something else into Consciousness and thereby using the experience to open awareness or to focus on creating a desired result. In this workshop, using postures, journey, and chanting, we will explore what it is to become the Earth or the Maypole, making union, and then use the ecstatic energy to create our desires that may come to fruition at harvest.

Matooka MoonBear has been walking an Earth based spiritual path for over 25 years from following her Native American roots to various forms of paganism. She self identified as a witch at 14 years of age though there was no exposure to the path through books or mentors, it was a personal awareness she had. Her practices are eclectic with strong shamanic tones, wise woman ways, working with animal allies and life cycles. She is also an energy worker using Reiki and massage as some of her mediums. Formal training came after years of self-study and solitary practice; she began a 4-year journey with a Mohawk teacher. Years later, completed her 4th degree training with Sisters of the Burning branch followed by Priestess Path training with Alisa Starkweather. She is now a lead minister in the Temple of Witchcraft for Cancer Ministry where she facilitates women’s mystery circles as well as cultivating a children’s ministry.
