From Garden to Vase: The Art and Technique of the Bouquet 

Considerable time is spent designing our gardens. Each year we reflect and dream into the coming season. We change, rearrange, multiply, and walk the perimetre of our imagined garden constantly. This workshop will extend this design obsession and pull your imagination into the vase. We will explore a variety of techniques, primarily the infinite possibilities of “bouquet” that will extend your experience of garden design into the exploration of “floral design”. The workshop will also discuss great plants for cut flowers with Phoenix owner Gary Lewis, conditioning techniques, and container ideas. Each participant will design and create their own beautiful florist-quality bouquet to take home with them under the watchful eye and patient instruction of Diane Levings from Full Bloom Flowers (www.fullbloomflowers.ca).
