PAUL BOGDANSKI, CPA,, JD
Director in Grant Thornton's State and Local Tax (SALT) practice.  He supports the SALT practice and is based in Chicago, IL.

More than 20 years of experience working in the state and local tax field. 

Spent over eight years working for the Illinois Department of Revenue as the Deputy General Counsel. Also served one year term as Acting General Counsel

Prior to joining the Department of Revenue, Paul litigated state tax controversies in the Illinois Courts as an Assistant Illinois Attorney General.

Has given presentations on the area of state and local taxation to audiences at New York University, Tax Executives Institute, Institute for Professionals in Taxation, and several bar associations. She has published many articles in the tax area, most notably in issues of the Journal of State Taxation, the ABA's Tax Lawyer, Journal of Multistate Taxation and Incentives, and Tax Analysts.
