Constance Lindman: Connie is chair of the Intellectual Property Practice Group at SmithAmundsen and has more than twenty years of experience in intellectual property law. Her practice includes resolution of patent, trademark, copyright and trade secret disputes including through litigation where necessary, both on behalf of those asserting rights and those defending against infringement claims. Connie also assists her clients with transactions relating to intellectual property rights, including software and technology, licensing, marketing, distribution and transfer agreements, and employment and consulting contracts. Connie received a B.S. in Applied Mathematics from Indiana University and her law degree from Indiana University School of Law, magna cum laude.

Kelly Smith: Kelly is an Intellectual Property attorney in SmithAmundsen’s Indianapolis office.  She assists clients with patent opinions, patent prosecution, and patent litigation, along with multiple other intellectual property issues.  She has assisted clients in various technology areas such as machine systems, medical devices, software, and business methods.  Kelly brings a unique background to the group having begun her career in the software industry, where she gained extensive database and programming experience.  She draws on the breadth of her educational and professional experience in her current day-to-day role.  Kelly received her B.A. from DePauw University, and her law degree from DePaul University College of Law.
