This year has been very exciting!

Dear supporter,

Our season started with our summer production of Sweeney Todd..

We had a cast and crew of over 40 students in Cambridge who spent 5 weeks working hard to produce this fun classic!

Due to our colaboration with the Mayor's program, students age 14 and older get paid to work as an actor, singer, dancer or the stage crew for our productions.  They not only learn how much work it takes to be a professional artist, but they also recieve general job training and are held accountable for being on time, prepareed as in individual , and effectively working as a team to reach a common goal.

Last years Spring show was SEUSSICAL and this year we have just started auditions for You're a Good Ma Charlie Brown! with over 80 students from all schools across Cambridge already signed up to audition!

We are very excited to annouce that this years show will be produced at the CRLS Auditorium thanks to the new Coordinator of the Visual and Performing Arts department , George Simpson and the rest of the VPA staff!

During reheasrals we stress creativity, teamwork and helping each student to find their unique voice.

Quite regularly students will share ideas and skills with our team and a common phrase you hear at rehearsal is "Put it in the show!" becasue we LOVE showcasing what the students bring to our program.

This year we are very excited to be able to offer jobs and internships to alumni who have come back after furthering their training at the College level and want to continue to hone their skills as stage mangers, asst. directors and vocal coaches.

Rising Stars classes continue to grow.

Each Saturday, an enthusiastic group of 40 of 4-11 year olds come together to learn how to act,

sing and dance and rehearse for their mini-musical.

This december they will perform 2 original theatre peices and the mini musical Annie

December 19th at 6pm at th Graham and Parks school

Get tickets for the event on our website www.Beyondthe4thwall.com

Our 4 to 6 year old students start to practice creative expression as they use their imaginations to create thier very own mini play to be performed for family and friends.

We had sold out audiences last spring and our students made lasting friendships across the city.

We see this in rehearsals as we observe cast members from last year continue

to enjoy friendships created last year.
