Educational Opportunities through the Pennsylvania Game Commission

Participants will learn about educational opportunities through the PA Game Commission, including information on the new wildlife kits, which interested conservation districts can host, and how the kits can support local and statewide Envirothon efforts.

Effective Conservation Messaging with the National Wildlife Federation's "Grow More" Training Program
During the Directors Breakfast on Thursday, January 23, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Effective conservation messaging is more than relaying data and facts—it depends on really knowing your audience. Insights on demographics, sociology, andeconomics can support a greater understanding of strategy and tactics for staff to “reach beyond the choir” when working with farmers and other stakeholders in their communities.

Cancellation Policy

The PACD Winter Meeting will be held regardless of weather conditions. As a result, inclement weather will not result in a refund. Cancellations must be received at the PACD office by January 10, 2020. Full payment for registration fee and all registered meals will be expected for any cancellations received after January 10, 2020.
